QAnon candidate roasted
"what happens when crazy meets stupid"
Dan Cox (pictured above with Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan in 2018) is running for governor in 2022. This week, he called for Hogan’s impeachment.
Bryan Sears of The Daily Record posted about this move on Facebook along with a response from the campaign of one of Cox’s primary opponents:
Doug Mayer, a senior adviser to Kelly Schulz's campaign issued the following statement:
“Dan Cox is what happens when crazy meets stupid. A person who believes that Mike Pence is a traitor and that the Chinese Communist Party has infiltrated Maryland state government "is not a rational actor. Unfortunately for his constituents, he’s also an extremely ineffective legislator who consistently fails to do anything remotely productive in service to them. Add today's nonsense to his long list of failures.”
Hogan previously attacked Cox for calling former Vice President Mike Pence a traitor. In the past, Cox also promoted Mike Lindell’s Cyber Symposium and went all in on the Stop the Steal movement. This included saying that there was massive voter fraud benefiting Joe Biden in Maryland, a state last won by a Republican candidate for president in 1988.
